A deranged Atlantic article argued that when talking about nuclear war’s likely catastrophic death toll, one should also address how it would “wreck” the climate.
The Atlantic had the audacity to publish an eco-extremist piece posing as serious scholarship: “On Top of Everything Else, Nuclear War Would Be a Climate Problem.” The piece, written by Atlantic staff writer Robinson Meyer, pontificated to readers: “If you are worried about rapid, catastrophic changes to the planet’s climate, then you must be worried about nuclear war.”

Nuclear Winter will counteract Global Warming.

The priority of “climate change” over the exigency of a war, any war, is greatly outweighed by the popular consent of the many who would pursue armed conflict over any overtures of negotiation and diplomacy. That such a conflict should turn nuclear, and thus poison vast stretches of the world, is just not part of the calculus.
The very ridiculous nature of the premise of “climate change” being instituted by human activity alone, and to drag that proposition into place as a reason to deny humanity its most important source of entertainment and commitment, is one that would be run over roughshod by at least one participant in any such global confrontation. As everybody knows, it takes two to tango.
Of course, this would not stop with just a tango.
That’s like saying ‘rape is bad for your makeup’. Pretty vacuous people.
When I was 12, we nearly had a nuclear war with Russia. Everyone was terrified because we understood what it would mean for us and the world. Now all I can see are fools who believe their drab, pathetic existence is a given and will just go on regardless of what they are saying on the evening news. They’re bulletproof and reality can’t touch them. And THAT is terrifying.
Yeah, not a friendly climate.
Climate IS their religion....it’s first and foremost ahead of anything.
Due to the threat of Nuclear Winter, the Biden Regime will light strategic oil fires in hopes that the Greenhouse Gasses will counteract the cooling.
Gas prices are expected to rise.

Fallout would actually cool the atmosphere.
Nuclear war would destroy most everything. Warming up would the least of our concerns.
Climate change means just that.
The Global Left means human caused global warming when they say, “climate change”.
But all-out thermonuclear war among the world powers would cause massive cooling.
This is a much bigger challenge to us than so-called man-made (up) global warming.
And probably, as is coming out recently, Russia has been funding the European Greenies to get them to give up all of their fossil fuels and instead buy Russian gas. It is probably a world-wide effort where the Sierra Club, National Geographic, Michael Mann, the UK Met office, the Australian Climate Coalition, and the AOC/Burnie socialists take Russian money, too.
Uhmmm... If nuke war happens, the chaos is what will kill most ... And maybe these dumb journos should worry about account settlements, Katrina style, occuring...
Can visualize the Atlantic morons whining about climate change effects as they are vaporized ... the ultimate climate change for individuals.
This is not even close to scholarship. Robinson Meyer is a guy with a BA in music who decided he wanted to be a writer. He is a scientific illiterate, but good enough for the Atlantic.
