That was profound! Do you know if it was a double fatal with both the officer and the suspect dying? Tough to see how either of them could have survived that.
Estimated over 300 1969 Dodge Chargers were destroyed for that show.
When they ran out of '69 Chargers, the producers used '68, '70, '71 Chargers, and even modified AMC Ambassadors.

What other show could I have been watching? I never saw one episode!
They generally don't care about accidents on private property, either. A buddy of mine found out the hard way when another driver backed into him in a parking lot. It was he said/she said with the insurance since the cops wouldn't respond to it. At least these folks have video.
In our FD we had a car wind up on hood of another car ....
Suspect died. Officer was injured but survived. I didn't watch the whole thing, just up to the first replay of the wreck. The description part of the video has a statement from the officer who performed the PIT.
Everything I’ve read indicates the driver of the pickup died, but the officer was released from the hospital a few days later.
