None of those nail salons, massages, etc. are reporting taxes. Know one that bought a $240,000 house with 6 cash payments. It’s how they roll.
They also want the protection now - not in a few days. It’s a panic situation after all the attacks, especially the brutal one yesterday.

I don’t know about Chinese, but Southeast Asians are a cash only society because they don’t trust banks. They keep their savings in gold. For example, the town where I live, population about 60,000, has 8 separate gold shops.
