Agreed. The American left’s sudden turn against Russia, which probably started a few years ago is perhaps a bit complex. I have a theory about it that is probably not popular with some on this forum but nevertheless it is what it is.
Actually I find it more ironic that some (a vocal minority but a minority nonetheless) on the right, especially some around these parts, opposed Russia from the get go are now suddenly pro Russia only because the Dems are anti Russia.
Maybe its a deal. Putin smashes Ukraine, we send in Billions, James Biden, Frank Biden, Hunter Biden, Ashley Biden, they bring the bacon home with the rebuild. Pops gets his 10 percent.

Don’t be. Think of it this way. Way back in prehistoric times, Communist Russia was allied to Nazi Germany. Then out of the blue, the evil Nazis stabbed the beloved Communists in the back. From that day forward, the sworn enemies of all good Communists were Nazis.
In the Middle ages the evil Nazis overthrew the kind and descent Communists in Russia, setting up the puppet Yeltsin. Trouble was brewing, but not until recent times, with the rise of Putin, did it become clear.
Now in modern times, with the advent of the ubiquitous cell phone, Word travels fast. The Nazis had assumed permanent power in the great and wonderful people’s paradise of communist Russia! The horror! So you can see clearly that the those dastardly evil Nazis running Russia must be killed, destroyed, ended at all costs.
This is the reason all good decent American Communists and their fellow travelers want war with Russia, Russia, Russia! Restore the Communists to power and all will be well, starting with the USA - which explains the rise of the Joe and the beginning of Biden’s War, now with a European flavor.

Not really, the first fight of the Left was against freedom in the West. Now that they’ve won that fight (while we were too busy to notice), they are now trying to bring the East to heel. Only problem is that it’s harder to install useful idiots in China and Russia.
