Not impeachment, but the THREAT of impeachment, much as Richard Nixon was driven from the White House in August of 1974. But this had to be crafted carefully, by first forcing Spiro Agnew to resign, and substituting an unelected Vice President, Gerald Ford. When Ford ascended to the Presidency, another unelected Vice President was appointed, Nelson Rockefeller.

The precedent is already set. It is a matter of implementing it in a time of growing national need.

For a while, the United States was governed by rules similar to the Parliaments of other countries, in which when there is a crisis of no-confidence, Parliament convenes and compels the seating of a new Prime Minister.
