Why aren’t these child sex abusers in prison? Does having a degree exempt one from the same laws as anyone else? Apparently so. If you did this you’d be in jail. but go to school, get a degree and it’s all good.

No, society tolerating open perversion led to this. Marriage as an institution has involved government since governments came to be. Marriage involves property and custody rights. Without the government being involved we would have anarchy and the law of the jungle rather than modern civilization.
