The anti-grooming bill passed the Florida state Senate by a 22-17 vote.
The anti-groomer law banning gender identity indoctrination in Florida's pre-K through third-grade classrooms was approved Tuesday by the state's Senate and sent to Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for signing. House Bill 1557, known as the Parental Rights in Education Bill and dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" bill by left-wing activists, passed by a 22 - 17 vote.
The legislature bans teachers in those grade levels from teaching about sexual orientation or gender identity. The bill also allows parents to sue school districts if the policy is violated. Proponents of the pro-parental control law say the bill gives decision-making power back to the parents over their children's education.
"I didn't call the bill the no gay whatever bill," Florida state Senator Dennis Baxley said, according to local WFTS-TV. "This has all been fabricated by the media, my friend. This does one simple thing, it decides who's in charge," he added.
Meanwhile the Biden administration's Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, who is pro-masking school-aged children, called the bill "hateful" and warned the state about federal funding if the bill supposedly violates federal civil rights law.
"The Department of Education has made clear that all schools receiving federal funding must follow federal civil rights law, including Title IX's protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. We stand with our LGBTQ+ students in Florida and across the country, and urge Florida leaders to make sure all their students are protected and supported," Cardona said.

Gays and Trannies are on suicide watch (though that’s always the case)
As a Floridian I have been watching some of the debate by the Florida House and Senate in the closing days of their 2022 session.
I am pleased to report that even the RINO’s in the Florida Legislature are standing tough and are passing the DeSantis agenda.
The Democrats in the Florida Legislature are gnashing their teeth, but that is about all they are accomplishing.
Why don’t these “news” stories read:

I pray others will follow!
Stand with our LGBT etc students? In grades pre K to 3rd grade????
How many transsexual 3rd graders are there?
How many lesbian kindergartners are there?

There is no mention of either sexual orientation or gender identity at all in Title IX.

Never once has the media reported that this is targeted to pre-k through the third grade. A lie by omission.
Then, "oh that kind of grooming".
Thank God Almighty for providing my wife and me with the wisdom to leave our home state of California for the Free state of Florida several years ago.

Yup. They'll just declare the law "unconstitutional," and that will be that.
That state could get crowded with families/children.
And what grade were everyone in when they found out about LGBT or whatever?
I did not know such things existed till out of school and in the workforce. You learn a lot in the Real World! QUICK!
Now they are trying to instill it in the kids of today.
The big push to make it “normal” began in the 1960s by having someone in the movies as a “sissy” for comic purposes.
When the Hays code was removed from the movies, inclusion of homos and such themes really took off. Pushing for the R or X rating at that time.
It’s astounding that we have to have a law to ban the spreading of such an abomination of human behavior.
