A report published on Friday is claimed to have come from a Russian FSB agent
It claims that Russia's chances of achieving victory in Ukraine are non-existent
Even if Putin's forces are able to capture of kill President Zelensky, the report says that occupying Ukraine would require too many resources for Russia
An analyst from investigative journalism group Bellingcat said he showed the report to FSB sources who said they had 'no doubt it was written by a colleague'

In Vietnam and Afghanistan we held on at least 5 years after we realized there was no path to victory.
For the sake of both Russia and Ukraine let us hope Putin is a faster learner.

They have destroyed everything in their path. Putin seeks to rule over rubble, surrounded by people who will hate him forever and a world that knows Russia will disappear under Chinese rulers.

Not even close. Nations banded together and fought militarily against Nazi Germany. That won’t happen here.
Russia will be isolated economically to a certain extent of which I am not sure. Russia has been through cold wars before. Russia could go that route but I suspect Vlad is smarter than that.
This will be more of a cold war situation for some period of time until a resolution is reached. It will be nothing like what happened to Nazi Germany.
This is dead spot on. Vlads gone bezerk with his meglomaniac plan of restoring the former Russian empire before he croaks from his current illness. Sorry Putin fan boys. But you can always root for the mullahs in Iran.
Putin should declare victory and withdraw. That is the only rational course of action.

When Soros sheds his mortal coil, who will pick up the reins of power? Certainly, unless major changes occur soon, it won’t be our choice who is lording over us.

Vietnam was won by Abrams in 1972/3
Afghanistan was won until we started funding the Taliban via Pakistan.
If Washington wanted to win those conflicts they’d been won and stayed so.
