At about 20 minutes into the video, there is a short clip of President Zelenski talking to Elon Musk. In it, Zelensky says: of course, Elon your systems will be welcome in Ukraine after the war.

This is Elon Musk, champion of free speech, attempting to ensure freedom of speech for Ukraine, after the war. He is already holding his starlink system to a much higher standard than other Internet providers.

Ukraine seems to be making ground on most fronts. Although the amount of ground gained is small, it is still ground covered! Will the Russians be able to hold the ground that they gained over the first days? or will their logistical issues begin to show and they will be hopeless to stop the slow Ukrainian advance as they push the Russians out of the country. This is a quagmire for Putin. The west is pouring in an insane number of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons. Russia got suckered in that they didn’t plan on that response or on the sanctions response. Vlad got badly outplayed.

17,000 anti-tank weapons were delivered into the Ukraine in just six days.

That might be the game changer, along with the anti-aircraft missiles.

More Russian reinforcements (apparently beyond what had been planned) are mobilizing, and should be arriving in a week or two. Russia will capture some number of Ukrainian vehicles as well.

But the losses of high value combat platforms like armored vehicles and helicopters could be (likely will be) epic. This may be the end of the old Soviet/Russian approach to warfare.

Does not matter how relatively short your supply lines are, you still have to cover the ground. In this case, the ground is either sticky deep mud or known roads where ambushes await.

The larger the army, the more supplies it needs, the more opportunity to destroy supply convoys.

Individual videos are starting to pop up in numbers.The equipment loss is already rather epic. Entire convoys are being captured intact. After studying a bunch of videos I think I know what's happening. At the first sign of an attack, no matter how small, the Russian troops bail out and run - and keep running, leaving everything where it sits. Ukrainians swoop in and if the trucks still run, mark them with Ukraine colors and drive them away, if not, offload to other vehicles. They are presently scoring a lot of loot that way.

A vid of a convoy as long as you can see in either direction, abandoned on a roadway. Interesting thing about the truck they are picking through on this vid is it's loaded with riot gear for crowd control - helmets, shields, padded suits, they whole setup. Rather optimistic since the shooting hasn't even stopped yet. Seems like someone was looking to certainly stay a spell and occupy.
