Cruz and Hawley are afraid they’ll face a challenge from Greitens when Trump finishes his second term in 2028. A sitting senator *and* ex-governor is a far more compelling presidential prospect than an ex-governor alone. And Greitens will get huge sums of cash from right-wing Jewish donors looking to make history by putting the first Jewish president in office. It might even turn the trickle of Jewish voters and donors who had been turning to the right into a flood. The canard about Jew-hating Republicans will be exposed for the fraud that it is.
