What Russia is using in Ukraine is the JV team. No AK-12s, T-90s or T-14s, no newer aircraft, few elite units, minimum ELINT and SIGINT.
Russia has about twenty T-14s, and less than four hundred T-90s in active inventory. Total, in their entire army. The T-72 is still their primary tank. Why, because it’s cheap to operate. You’re not going to see a bunch of Russki wonder weapons any time soon.
