Unconfirmed for now, but this is now the second photo/video I've seen of a possible S-300/400 launch near #Mozyr, Belarus. Visible all across the Gomel region, it seems. What did it just intercept?

Belarus has some intrigue going on, they are likely shooting themselves.
Ukrainians jets are hopefully staying safely clear of the border, but they do have a number of Turkish built drones that have been carving up Russian armor. If Ukraine has anything airborne over there it is likely one of those.

Not there yet, at least regarding nukes. Hopefully won’t get there. More likely simply taking out some Ukranian planes.

NATO drones more than likely have been pushing the limits to the max just to keep the russian airspace defence forces at hard to maintain operational tempo. Someone throwing a phone pole to the ski isnt unlikely. Hopefully not another non combatant, but with the luck of the russians and their allies it will something not so good on the world stage.
Clear skies over the region, everyone is taking pictures to see what the russians are doing wrong....why they cannot take 200km of highway. Seem to rembmer a critisim of the US army not being able to secure 200km of highway from a motivated force.
The number of NATO special forces and drones that might be actualy fighting this war is considerable and highly likely, the item the west is prepared for is taking out light tank convoys (technicals) under blue skies.

Ukraine can request NATO to do anything Ukraine goverment wants in their skies if NATO has any balls. NATO isnt starting a war with russia , it is providing a “space of peace” by bombardment. Now NATO leadership has to get out on the world stage and sell it to russia, that NATO strikes are at the operational command and contol of Ukraine (snicker). Just like russian pilots over the skys of Korea and Vietnam. Putin want old rules, give him old rules.

Those are Grad (and other) rocket motors. There is one for every rocket artillery round fired. Once it’s boosted the warhead the motor separates before the warhead impacts.
If I was a NATO war planner, I would be pulling out the Nuclear bomber formation decoys and sending them at the belarus air defence system on a daily basis. It costs us nearly nothing to get B52 crews flight hours vs the training they have been defering for the past 5 years.
I would have a B52 squadron flight back in canadian and alaska airspace doing the same old 1968 orbits just to make the russians burn jet time to get forces at the right bases to react. Get the tankers proficient again with the flight hours. The ANG needs the parts they have been asking for pulled from Arizona and delivered to the less sexy jet squadrons. If russia want to threaten Defcon 4, put the NATO assetts back on Defcon 4 status....that burns russian wealth at consierable rate.
Even the VIP transport division and airlift get them flying in to and out of poland regulars as clockwork. Empty or Full it is a threat.
What could it cost...50 to 60 billion to do once a generation work up for the USAF? Get all the industries working the military overhauls that they are contracted to still support. Get the maintainers out of pride class and get them working on aircraft.

Defcon 4 is Peace time, Defcon 1 is nuclear war.
Good call on what a real CIC would do. Too bad our current one is bought and paid for by both sides in this conflict.
