I can appreciate other viewpoints. That said. My wife was born and raised in Moscow. She moved here when she was 19, and speaks fluent Russian. She just spent 30 minutes listening to Putin’s speech, in Russian ... not translated. When it was over she was crying. She said, this is not a war with Ukraine, this is a war with America. Putin is a madman and said that if we try to stop him, he will launch nukes at America. He is pissed that Ukraine wanted to join NATO. He is pissed that the Soviet Union was broken up. He wants revenge.
So, he’s nuts. Meanwhile, we have a drooling nit wit in the Whitehouse

Your wife is correct. Ukraine though is proving to be a difficult target, a porcupine rather than a suckling pig. The Russian bear is getting a snout full of quills and Putin’s hold on power is in jeopardy.

What your wife may not grasp, however (perhaps you do), is that deep state has been stoking this fire for years. Coupled with the fact that Putin’s buildup has been occurring for a year (and nothing was done about it), what has unfolded is EXACTLY what they wanted.
The enemy is not Putin: It is us.

Brandon, thank god, doesn’t have to do anything. Germany sent 1000 anti tank missiles today. Is Putin going to nuke them? No. The Russian people will Mussolini him if he does that. Near every country in Europe is sending armaments to Ukraine right now. Putin has been outflanked and has lost. The world changed today.
My wife has a good friend who is stuck in Poland-just over a couple hours drive from Russia.
She wants to get out but is having problems because of things..whatever that means I do not know. Her family is there and she was visiting. She must be trying to get them out or something-I do not know.
They are scared half to death.

Doesn’t your wife realize that if Putin launches nukes at America, we will retaliate? I think he loves Russia too much to do that to his own ppl. I’m more afraid of him launching an EMP attack, along with China.
