Nope, it is spoofing akin to the old Afghan era Lipa jammer. For your information, the famed Stinger only downed 19 Mi-24s in Afghanistan for about ~600 launches.

Truth is the first casualty of war…I wouldn’t believe msm, xiden, or any of the fake administration…probably no way to know what is really going on even for the participants…if the Ukraine can hold out for 10-14 days they can probably get a negotiated settlement allowing them to survive…

They say the plan is always the first casualty. The question is how well they can adjust to the changing conditions. I hope the Ukrainians are making this expensive and difficult for the Putinists. If they can succeed at holding the Russian off and bleed them dry then there will be no call for us or other NATO countries to get involved directly.

If Putin succeeds his position in Russia will be strengthened and China will feel bolder about going for Taiwan. Our forces will likely be split between countering both Russian and Chinese aggression.

If Putin fails then his position will be weakened. We will be able to keep our focus on China. China will be less inclined towards aggression for the next few years as the Taiwanese morale will be lifted by the example of Ukrainian resistance to Russian aggression.

Our interests are much stronger in Taiwan than Ukraine. We need to support the Ukrainians but avoid direct involvement. We must be ready to react to any move on Taiwan. If only someone other than Biden were in charge I would have more confidence. Even if the Ukrainians can beat the Russians I can’t help but expect the dotard in the Whitehouse to screw things up.

Regardless of what one thinks about Ukraine vs. Russia, it’s kind of shortsighted to say that Russia is “bogged down” or whatever after, what, two days?

Remember that it took the USA 35 days to take Baghdad in Desert Storm I, with a multinational coalition, against a foe that was definitely not a peer power, or even near-peer.

The Mob boys, gotta get their vig, too.

Just thinking that Putin is surrounded by a similar version of yes men woke generals as have overswarmed the Pentagon. Wars of Wishful Thinking

Will all that Russian armor soon not be able to operate?

TBF, they'll probably use Ukraine's paved road system to move around.

I love these articles saying: "Since Putin didn't take over a country of 40 million in 72 hours, his invasion is a debacle."

Hint: It took Hitler 6 weeks to subdue France and that was considered a "lightning war." Remember?

Russia's difficulties will make a Chinese-Taiwan war less likely.

Russia's military is far more mature.

Never underestimate the home court advantage.

Brits made that mistake in 1775.

Agree. There are 40 million hoping mad Ukrainians and they are hunting for invaders. Also, the morale boost that having the Aresenal of Democracy behind your back is. Ukraine knows they will never run out of ammo now. Putin and his troops know that too.

The invader moral is certainly collapsing now. Putin can’t even control cities near the border. Practically in Russia. He went a bridge too far and will pay the price.

It took the Germans over a month to take Poland in WWII, and that was a blitzkrieg.

They are preparing provocations against innocent civilians – women and children –

This is where the Chechen animals come in.

Russians thought they were just going to waltz in like the Taliban did in Afghanistan.

It’s Putin. He got arrogant and went a bridge too far. Now the big question is if his regime survives. I am 100% serious. His army is about to get humiliated. Just imagine the scenes will soon see of hundreds of invaders marching into captivity. That will devastate Putin in Russia.

A desperate Putin will pull out thermobarics and massive indiscriminate artillery and bombing. He knows if he loses, hes out of power.

There’s video of a Molotov cocktail being used on an invader truck. I’ve seen it.
