Their planned overnight stop for Friday night is less than a 6 hr drive from me. I'm seriously considering throwing some camping gear in the car and heading down there to show my support.

Heck, since the vaccine mandates knocked me out of my previous job and I'm now full-time teleworking at my new job, I'm low-key considering throwing the laptop in the car and rolling with them. The gotcha is I have a business trip coming up and the convoy is headed the wrong way. And I need this job to keep food on the table and a roof overhead. I don't rely on someone else to take care of me and mine.

So that’ll be an involuntary trucker strike. If this doesn’t go our way we were going to strike anyway.

It’s funny: I-40 ALWAYS looks like a truckers’ convoy; I’m gonna go up there and see it for myself. I’ll buy a couple of them a load of fuel if they’ll let me.

I counted up to 32 rigs pulling into Kingman but the stream got interrupted. There are about 10 times as many cars. I’ll watch for another chance to count later.
