At around 940 pm Wednesday evening (340 am US Eastern time) Freedom Camp protesters in Wellington, New Zealand successfully removed concrete barriers at Bowen Street and Lambton Quay allowing more vehicles in.
Police soon arrived to re-establish the blockade they set up there...
The New Zealand Police, a national police force involved here, say their goal is to reduce the size of the protest in the coming days...
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was heckled again Thursday as she visited a school in Christchurch. Much media drama saying Ardern was rushed out of the school.
A TV One reporter at the scene says a parent at the school attacked COVID mandate protesters...
The New Zealand Herald reports that protesters were shoved to the ground as the police moved in Thursday afternoon.
The police now moving concrete barriers and there are plenty of police in riot gear in the area ready to advance if that is the intention of the police.
For now it appears to have been an expansion and tigtening of the concrete blockade around the protest area.
The police left the area around 440 pm Thursday, 1040 pm Eastern US Time Wednesday...

I would have said CAN after the Emergency Act, but now I’m not so sure. Compared to AU and NZ the US has much fewer Coof restrictions and the are getting dropped more and more by the day.
NZ has protesters pushing back on cops.
