How the Ukraine crisis is already hitting Americans' wallets
CBS News ^ | Feb. 23rd, 2022 | Irina Ivanova

Although many Americans may prefer that the U.S. stay out of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the brewing violence and political fallout are already hurting their wallets. Gasoline prices, which have hit eight-year highs — could surge even further if the hostilities escalate or if U.S. lawmakers pass another round of sanctions.

The economic impact could also move beyond the gas pump, Wall Street analysts warn. Sanctions or export controls against Russia could make current semiconductor shortages even worse, while restrictions on wheat or metals could drive the fiercest bout of inflation in decades to climb even higher.

They may. But if they harm a hair on the head of one of the hoodlums, the law will come down on them with all 4 feet. They will join the Blacks as a protected class.

Yup. Misdirection.

Gas is more expensive ‘cause of BeijingBiden’s doing the CCP’s bidding in shutting down US production and shipping, and by causing inflation.

Ukraine has nothing to do with this. THIS is a “Wag the Dog” exercise. But, many US voters will buy the idea and blame Ukraine. Why? Because if they don’t go for that they have to admit that installing BB into the WHouse was a baaaaad idea. And, among liberals of any stripe, looking back for causes of today’s consequence is waaaay beyond their intelligence.

Yesterday I heard a news report tell us the Russia conflict is going to result in higher food prices. They're setting the narrative for the coming failures of the Brandon administration. Russia will be blamed for high food prices and high gas prices and run-away inflation.

Russia, Russia, Russia.

Biden’s and Pelosi’s wallets are stretching at the seams. That’s some real hurt.

How about rescinding all those Executive orders that destroyed our energy sector in a single year and ramping up our oil production. This would drop world oil prices and cost Putin needed oil and gas revenues. Side benefits US gasoline prices would drop and the thousands of jobs lost by Biden’s energy policy could return. Sadly this isn’t going to happen as dementia Joe has sold out to the Greens.

The US had become energy independent until the Destructocrats stole the election and deliberately torpedoed the energy production.

All the article says is that things “could” happen, which is not what the headline states.

Lying media.

Again.
