I would assume fire depts across the USA will increasingly need this special equipment to fight electric car fires resulting from car accidents and malfunctions. I’m sure they burn clean as well. -sarc
In Europe they dunk them in a dumpster full of water for a day.
Last year a tesla crashed into a tree in Texas killing two....the responding fire dept put THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND gallons of water on the burning car and were unsuccessful at extinguishing the fire....they ended up just having to let it burn itself out.
Not exactly environmentally friendly if you ask me.
All ya need is some baking soda to put out an electrical fire. ;)
My Dad was on the road one time, and a woman was by the side of the road with her engine on fire. He doused it with baking soda which put out the blaze.
She then yelled at him for ‘ruining her car!
Whatever, Lady, LOL!

Nah, they just need crews on scene for 7 to 8 hours and pour 40,000 gallons of water on each EV car fire.
A normal car on the other hand can be put out in just a few minutes with 300 gallons of water.
