SHOCK POLICY: Ottawa may euthanize truckers’ pets as punishment

Canadian PoliticsCOVID-19Vaccine Mandate Feb 17, 2022 Written By Keean Bexte

The same day that videos emerged of Ottawa and Quebec police gearing up to go after peaceful Convoy supporters in the capital, the Ottawa government has warned protesters that their pets may be confiscated following their arrest.

Moreover, position statements issued by the Ottawa Humane Society reveal that they may unilaterally euthanize any animal that they deem to be “not suitable for adoption.” Arbitrary behavioral and health tests would be used to make the call.

These decisions about the life of a trucker’s pet would, thus, be made without their consent or knowledge while they are imprisoned for indefinite periods of time via the Emergency Powers of the Trudeau regime.

"Attention animal owners at [the] demonstration," Ottawa By-law writes in a Tweet. "If you are unable to care for your animal as a result of enforcement actions, your animal will [be] placed into protective care for 8 days, at your cost. After 8 days, if arrangements are not made, your animal will be considered relinquished."

As anyone with experience in pet care or animal shelters will know, "relinquishment" means that ownership of pets will be handed over to animal shelters, where the pets will be housed while awaiting a prospective owner to adopt them or to be euthanized.

As Adopt-a-Pet explains, "When shelters run out of kennel space, sometimes even healthy adoptable dogs are put to sleep. Some shelters simply don't have the manpower to spend time with each dog, so they spend most of their time alone in a small cage… What is true at every shelter is that when you surrender a dog, what happens to him is completely out of your hands."

It isn't clear what length of time Convoy supporters may face if arrested for peacefully protesting, but the government has been clear that it could be up to one year in prison, in addition to a possible $100,000 fine.

This move, while despicable, should come as no surprise, as authoritarian regimes often resort to such measures when under stress.

Last year, the Australian government euthanized 15 rescue dogs, including ten puppies, at an animal shelter to 'stop the spread' of COVID amongst the devastated staff.

As it stands, all Canadians continue to be held hostage following Trudeau's invoking of the Emergencies Act, with Canadians' who happened to support the Convoy financially being threatened with the possible freezing of their bank account. Dogs are just the latest target for a government in shambles.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

You touch my pet and I WILL touch you.

Why the heck are truckers bringing their pets? That’s as crazy as bringing kids.

Queen Elizabeth better get off her neutrality policy and put a stop to this insanity before there’s real violence. She appoints the governor. All public officials, from police to Trudeau, swear an oath to her. She has the power to dismiss criminal charges against the protesters at any point.

“After Monday, then what”

This will be over if not today, then tomorrow. Parliament intentionally didn’t finish voting on the Emergencies Act (perhaps Monday). The politicians wanted a crack down to happen. Basically most politicians have chosen a side.

Come Monday, what I guess happens, Trudeau will repeal the Emergencies Act. Politicians and media will praise him for his “forceful leadership and humility in giving up power”

Going forward politicians/Trudeau won’t need to invoke the Emergencies Act, the threat will always be there. Canada has entered a stage where they no longer even have to couch their actions in law, it is pure force here out.

Any citizen will face illegal force, but more importantly, any politician that gets out of line will as well.

"Why the heck are truckers bringing their pets?"

Lots of truckers travel w/ their pets for companionship.

Trudeau would kill their children if he thought he could get away with it.

Truckers are a threat to mean spirited pajama boys who came to power by having the right ‘daddy’... born on third - thinks he hit a triple. Why a threat? Because they can see him for what he really is - and the truckers are showing the world the ‘real Trudeau.’.

Trudeau’s a bully... and a thug.

Road Dog Of Truck Driver Shot On I-75 Found Safe

Suzy, the “road dog” of the truck driver shot on I-75 on Wednesday, ran off after the shooting but will be reunited with her family.

A truck driver was shot at least twice by another driver on I-75 on Wednesday. His dog, Suzy, was in the cab of the truck with him — and when she ran off into the woods after the shooting, a passerby caught her. She’ll be reunited with her family soon. (Cobb County Police Department)

COBB COUNTY, GA — A man driving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 75 through Cobb County on Wednesday was shot at least twice by another driver, who continued down the interstate. But the trucker wasn’t the only one in the cab of the truck — his beloved “road dog,” Suzy, was there, too.

The shooting shut down I-75 near Wade Green Road for at least two hours Wednesday afternoon, and the truck driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Cobb police are still working to identify the suspect and the suspect’s car.

Family members of the driver told WSB-TV that Suzy ran off into the woods after the shooting. The man had rescued Suzy from a truck stop, and she keeps him company on the road.

WSB-TV posted Suzy’s photo on Facebook, and it was shared more than 10,000 times. Sara Weinschenk said she found Suzy running on I-75 in Bartow County, and she shared photos of her with WSB-TV, which contacted the driver’s family.

Modern governments have yet to grasp the power of assymetry despite the object lessons of Vietnam and Afghanistan.

In my world such an edict would mean open hunting season on police, politicians and their families if implemented as announced.

Effing communists, socialists, marxists … all the same evil animal doing what it does.

Who is more foolish: the fool or the fools who follow him and keep voting for this madness to be done in their name to themselves and their own?

”Safe and effective” authoritarians showing their colors and it won’t get better until they are out of power.

Had enough yet or do you still need more?

Just the beginning. Monsters start torturing animals in their youth. They’re being conditioned to kill the populace.

One of the hallmarks of tyranny is pettiness.

Right.

"Why? Because we CAN - and there's nothing you can do aboot it."

This is why the US Criminal Jesters System pulls the cr@p that it does with executions taking DECADES, if they ever happen at all, and releasing murderous thugs with no bail.

Whatcha gonna do about it, peasant?
