Not everything should be viewed with hindsight.

In 50 years 'progressives' and all their toxic incentive spending will be seen as insanely evil people..

Hollywood was also doing business with the Nazties and I never hear word one about that. Wonder why?

Hitler was Time Magazine Man of the Year. So what! What if a person drove a VW Beatle in 1967? Oh, the horrors.

C.R. MacNamara:
Just between us, Schlemmer, what did you do during the war?

Schlemmer:
I was in der Untergrund: the underground.

C.R. MacNamara:
Resistance fighter?

Schlemmer:
No, motorman. In the underground, you know, the subway.

According to the movie, Coke stole it in the 1950s.

So the Coke I drank in the 1940s was what?

Coca Cola was not the only company to do this. Many US companies continued doing business with the enemy aiding Germany and hurting the US

How many companies did business with the Soviet Union, even during Stalin's day? Even during the Ukraine genocide?

The Cagney movie is hysterically funny.......the Coke exec is stuck w/ his boss daughter ...... she surprises him by announcing that she’s married to Otto Piffl, a young East German Communist with ardent anti-capitalistic views.

When the Southern belle is confronted about her foolishness helping him blow up anti-American “Yankee Go Home” balloons (how the couple met) she replies, “Why, that ain’t anti-American, it’s anti-Yankee... And in Atalanta, where I come from, everybody’s against Yankees ...”

Mac tries to come to terms that his Coke boss’s daughter married a Communist obviously a disaster of monumental proportions.

Mac deals with it as any good capitalist would — by framing the young Communist firebrand and having him picked up by the East German police.

After Otto is forced to listen endlessly to the song “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” during interrogation, he cracks and signs a confession that he is actually an American spy.

There was no Coca Cola in Germany after 1941. The US side stopped shipping syrup. That’s when Fanta was invented to take its place.

You would think people would be more concerned about Coke’s business dealings with China and their current genocide than Germany’s 75 years ago.

All of the people involved are dead. I would prefer to see what Coke might be up to these days, especially in China, its third-largest market.

Has anyone ever drunk Fanta sodas, owned a Volkswagen, or taken Bayer aspirin? Check into those for some interesting history also involving people now long dead.
