Anyone who thinks Kevin McCarthy would make an effective Speaker of the House should reassess.
(snip) Years later it was discovered that Kevin McCarthy was living with pollster Frank Luntz in Washington D.C. despite having a wife and kids in California.
And in May of 2021 McCarthy said, ““I don’t think anybody is questioning the legitimacy of the presidential election. That’s all over with.”
On Thursday McCarthy described the January 6 protests as a “violent insurrection.”
His goal is to please Democrats and the media.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy has conceded that January 6th was a ‘violent insurrection,’ saying he agreed with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s description of that day.
‘No one would disagree with that,’ McCarthy told reporters on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
His clarification comes after McCarthy was mocked by Democrats for walking away from an ABC News reporter who was asking him about the Republican National Committee censure of Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney for serving on the committee investigating the insurrection.

GOPe knows this is the time to attack conservatives. They are betting on winning in the midterms and want to kill off Trump’s influence in the party. They will be on an all-out attack all the way to voting time.

McCarthy is a SNAKE! He is trying to hedge his bets and ride that fence because he wants to be speaker.
I hope Trump is just USING him, and kicks him to the curb when he is done with him.

Posted earlier: Is there a truck driving primary opponent out there? Filing deadline is 4 weeks from today. A challenger would be a protest vote, mostly to keep him from becoming speaker. This is the way to do it. What accomplished republican has stepped up? They’re all cowards with something to lose. We need someone who doesn’t care what others think. Just ask Trump.
btw-if it really happened(a challenger wins) I bet trump would kick him when he’s down. Dare him to be a sore loser like Cheney. Heh heh.

The FIRST Republican to assist in forming a truck blockade around the DC prison where the 1/6 TRUE FREEDOM FIGHTERS are being unconstitutionally held captive, IS EVERYTHING A HOUSE SPEAKER SHOULD BE. Haven’t seen one yet.

This cycle, Amnesty Senator Rubio, Crapo, Grassley, Amnesty Senator Hoeven, Lankford, Lee, Moran, Scott, Thune and Young all need to be primaried in 2022, even if Trump endorses them.
What’s important is that Kevin McCarthy is up for election. If McCarthy survives his primary then vote for the Democrat.
We are now in a political war and it’s time to remove all leaders who cannot or will not lead us to victory. We can do this by refusing to support them in the general. If McCarthy gets shit-canned this November by Republican voters then this despicable Vichy RINO behavior would stop immediately.
This is not new for McCarthy. This has been his basic attitude for years. If he becomes Speaker of the House, it will just be Paul Ryan 2.0.
It’s no violation of Reagan’s principle to say this of McCarthy. As others have said, McCarthy is an assistant Democrat.
