Several Republican Attorney Generals from across the U.S. have already publicly announced that their offices will be looking into whether GoFundMe violated any state laws in response to the fundraising website canceling a fundraiser for Canadian truckers and initially stating that they would send the funds to other charities.

GoFyourself needs to be canceled.
This is not their first Woke Rodeo.
They respond quickly to that, but nothing involving Trump.
Great
Everyone wants a piece of the 10 million.
The 10 million will go back to the donors. What I am hoping this leads to for GFM is tens of millions in fines and legal fees before it is finished. If a couple of jail terms get handed down that would be a good thing too!
This is gonna leave a mark.
In this Rodeo they might get hog tied and branded with the word "Dumbass."
Here are some thoughts as to what the State Attorney Generals might be looking at:
1. Did GOFUNDME contact Ottawa first asking Ottawa to say the truckers were promoting violence?
2. GOFUNDME needed an excuse to do what they did.
3. GOFUNDME had no problems with BLM and CHAZ funding in 2020.
4. GOFUNDME and Ottawa and Trudeau are all leftists. Leftists have no problem colluding to achieve their mission.
5. Would RICO statutes come into play here?
6. When the truckers raised $10 million, the Leftists had to take drastic action to shut down the truckers. Too many people in the USA and Canada were becoming too sympathetic with the truckers.
A legal equivalent of a 2 X 4 upside the head tends to do that.
I hope they go out of business.
Watches ultra left woke company do tons of ultra left woke things
Does business with ultra left woke company
Ultra left woke company again does ultra left woke thing
*surprised pikachu face.*
Well deserved I might add except a 4x4 would be better Buford Pusser style.
Those are some great questions. In addition to GFM, how many Government employees are now engaging in unconstitutional conduct outside the scope of their official duties in conspiring to deprive truckers AND/OR their supporters of their First Amendment Rights? Remember, when government employees go outside the scope of their duties to punish people, they do so at the risk of losing any personal claim of “qualified immunity.”
Great points.

2. For Donors.
Donors may receive a refund (or other resolution as described below) when they make an online donation via the GoFundMe platform (“Platform”) to a Covered Fundraiser¹ and the organizer or beneficiary (if one exists) of the Covered Fundraiser commits a Misuse.
For purposes of this Policy, “Misuse” means any of the following:
The organizer does not deliver funds to the Intended Beneficiary²(as defined below);
The fundraiser’s content is inaccurate with respect to a material fact about the organizer, beneficiary, or purpose, which GoFundMe determines is the principal reason upon which a reasonable donor would rely in making a contribution; or
Other deceptive conduct by the organizer or beneficiary that GoFundMe determines, in its sole discretion, warrants a full or partial refund.
If GoFundMe determines, in its sole discretion, that a Misuse has occurred, it may reimburse you the amount of your donation(s) submitted through the Platform (up to $1,000 per donor per fundraiser). If the Misuse arose from a failed delivery of funds to the Intended Beneficiary, we may also redirect your donation to the Intended Beneficiary in lieu of another remedy; please see Section 3 “For Beneficiaries,” below, for details.
All resolutions are decided by GoFundMe in its sole discretion, and all of its determinations are final.
Donor Exclusions.
The following situations are excluded and do not give rise to benefits under this Policy:
Seeking a refund for any fundraiser that is not a Covered Fundraiser, namely (a) any fundraiser with a beneficiary in a country that is not a covered country; or (b) any fundraiser raising money for a charity, including a fundraiser benefiting (i) a person withdrawing on behalf of a charity, (ii) a certified charity (through PayPal Giving Fund) or (iii) a certified charity through GoFundMe.org or (iv) GoFundMe.org;
Seeking a refund for your donation to your own fundraiser;
Seeking a refund for offline donations not transacted on the Platform;
Regretting the donation;
Personal disagreement with or dislike of the organizer or beneficiary;
Disagreement with how an organizer or beneficiary uses funds raised in excess of the stated fundraiser goal at the time of your donation;
Disagreement over the payment instrument or means by which the organizer or Intended Beneficiary will receive the funds;
Undelivered offers, promises, rewards, or promotions made or offered by the organizer or beneficiary of the fundraiser;
Donating to a fundraiser that has been removed for reasons other than Misuse;
Donations to a charity;
Disagreement with GoFundMe for any reason; and/or
Any reason not based on the documented, objectively held belief that a Misuse has occurred.
Oh yea! Bring the pain.
My first thought was that Go fund me trying to redirect donations amounted to outright theft. The sleaze balls need to go to jail if they did that.
