Think about it. The girl is shown sitting on a folding chair, which for a ball girl is usually placed near the outer edge of the infield dirt, about 60 yards from the outfield fence. By the time she reacted to the ball, it would already be past her, traveling at 70 or more miles an hour. It would hit the wall within 2 seconds of when she reacted to it. No one can run 60 yards in two seconds, not to mention the time it would take to climb the wall.

I must admit it Steve, after looking at evidence of the contrary, I now agree it is a fake. Someone offered proof it was done for a gatorade commercial that never ran.

Explains why it sat in my file for so long. I most likely forgot and when I ran a cross it I posted it thinking it was legit.

Oh well, it’s still kinda cool
