So you say you can only deflate with a syringe in the line and cutting or severing it won’t work? Tell me how does that work? You jam the syringe up inside you at the bulb? Difficult to believe.
Secondly, you seem to take pleasure in saying “don’t call 911 or don’t go” but sometimes you don’t have control over that. I know that from personal experience. Further, removing devices inserted against your will is not violence nor does it imply “tearing up the place” as you imply. How can you tear up something for which you’ve already been charged?
the catheter tube has a Y at the end with an isolated port for adding/removing saline from the balloon. I am in a facebook prostate cancer group and others have mentioned being advised to remove their own catheter. This was done by cutting the end off from the saline port before pulling it out. That being said, no way could I have pulled my own catheter. Too much discomfort from the prostatectomy
