Original request came in from a trucker, believe. But middle of night, and have not had any updates or knowledgeable response to this query.
Know a trucker? Convoy? Anyone in Alberta? Got a CB? Know any ham radio people? Looking for confirmation or denial, not hearing anything yet.

Doesn’t make sense since everyone would have cellphone cuts not just truckers.
1. Wouldn’t shutting down cell phone service affect all the local populace also?
2. How many truckers know each others cell phone numbers?
3. C.B, HAM radio, GMRS, FRS radio can NOT be shut down.
Ham operators are good people. Recipients can/will make phone calls for you, or operators can go digital and send texts or e-mails.
Typical mentally disordered liberals swinging in the dark not even knowing what their target is.

So the truckers are hunting bear?
I am a Ham radio operator. Don’t have any radios right now. We haven’t for quite some years, but keep the licenses up-to-date. Government can triangulate on your signal and come and get you and make an example. We are having VERY bad governmental problems everywhere right now. Pray. Hard. Go back to worship services. Now.
It’s possible to shut users out of a tower and leave it free for others to use.
If you have the identifying data from the phones you wish to hamper then just those will fail.
Or you could specify a small geographic area to be shut off from tower access....say 1m radius of the border crossing.
