John Malone of Discovery has a deal to buy CNN that will completed in the next few months. Malone has promised a return to actual news, and that big personnel changes are coming.

Maybe. My take on this was that it might actually be Malone pulling the trigger on this even if he has not yet there with ownership. If there are a lot of scandals out there, he wants them all revealed and dealt with by ATT before he takes over.
Perhaps, he can relocate to New Zealand.
