I grew up on the Canadian border. My father’s family all came from there. We still have family and friends living there. Growing up on the American side, I never found Canadians to be the whimps that they’re stereotyped to be....just the opposite, IMHO. They’re tough and will fight at the drop of a hat. One thing we learned early on living on the American side: Never take em on in hockey or soccer...they’re brutal.
Baseball, basketball, etc. was always an even match, but soccer or hockey? Forget about it.

Isn’t that the truth. Who would have ever thought the Canadians would be the first North Americans to organize and openly rebel against the tyranny. I have much newfound respect for the Canadians.
