They guy has been a nut job for years. What’s the name of the spice company alternative? There’s at least one.
Stick with McCormick just as good.
I use ‘The Spice House’ which is his Sister, who is NOT a mental case, LOL!
But, yes. PLENTY of places to buy decent spices.
Dan O’Donnel made the point this morning about Bill Penzey getting stinking wealthy DUE to Colonialism - which was pretty much started while they were trying to find ways to get good spices to The New World. Need some spices? Subjugate the natives! *SNORT* Who’s the ‘racist’ (if not worse!) now?
Of course, the irony is lost on this whackadoodle!
They made a couple things I liked, but decided years ago they didn’t want my business. Their ingredients are listed on the jar and website, so I just reverse engineered.
McCormick
Here’s a few I use:

The family also had a separate company that was run by Ruth Pennzy and has passed on to her daughter and her husband who have brought in outside financialpartners. Its called the Spice House
It turns out that his sister and her husband run The Spice House. I've talked to her to let her know why she got my business about 5 years ago when that knucklehead at Penzeys drove me away. She told me that, having been raised in the same house by the same parents, they could not be more different. She also told me that she and her husband keep their political views OUT of their business environment. They have good products, good service and I've been very pleased with them.

some of the best spices and best spice prices are available from east India and oriental grocery stores; mexican grocery stores too ... spices are sold in large packages for a tiny fraction of chain grocery store prices and usually are surprisingly fresh ... plus you’re supporting small, local, independent, business owners ..
