Might want to look at whistleblower laws and then consider contacting the state.
My experience with HR tells me that you will just get in trouble if you ask them about something like this. They are not there for you. They are there to impose Diversity on you.
It has been my experience that HR works for and is a tool for Management. HR is not your friend. Agree, whistleblower law and go to state.
