I have high hopes for Youngkin, but he did NOT ban CRT. What he did was ban teachings that violates the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and leftists do not teach CRT in that way (they are devious by nature).
I have high hopes too. I like his first few days. You can not not expect a fight with the entrenched libs in the state. He is empowering parents. And that is a good thing. It is nice to have a governer who does that instead of referring them to the terrorist watch list.
Modest suggestion: Give him time!

Had the weirdest respiratory illness I've ever had in January 2020. Had blocked ears, blocked nose, burning lungs, overwhelming fatigue, a racking cough, and I was 73 and 275 pounds with a stent in my left descending artery. Haven't even had a cold since. Still Pureblood. Am I on the last pull of the trigger?

We really need to give Gov Youngkin some time, some room to operate, and our vocal/physical support.
Just firing those 30 employees has turned into a media circus and attack line. He is going to have to fire a lot more of them to get anything done.
My hope is that the whole leadership chain of VDOT gets canned for the I95 debacle.

At one point I was able to get off the highway to try to hit the bathroom.
Virginia DOT tweeted that the highway was open and the crash was cleared, so I stupidly got back on just in time for them to tweet that they closed it again. Six hours later I made it to another exit and got off.
As far as mask freedom, the stupid school districts are keeping up the charade. My daughter lives in Charlottesville where they posted that masks are still required.
She replied and asked if so, why weren’t teachers required to make sure wet, snot covered dirty masks on pre-schoolers weren’t changed during the day.
Of course Karen replied that her son has leukemia and doesn’t have an immune system. My daughter replied that she feels bad for her and hopes her son is better, but why should the entire rest of society be forced to protect her kid. That’s her job and not ours.

It wouldn’t matter. As long as classrooms are unmonitored and teachers WANT CRT, there is literally NOTHING he could sign that would ban it. At most, maybe push it underground a bit. So maybe it was a stunt, of sorts, but irrelevant.
But DeSantis is trying to get monitoring into Florida classrooms, just for that reason. I wish him luck, but it’s a long-shot, considering how ‘educators’ view their domain.

Vaxxes will reduce the interval that the virus is able to be transmitted. With the original virus, that interval was nil. As the virus developed mutations; giving more contagious variants, that interval increased but was still a shorter infection than those unvaxxed. The following is a quote from an article from the JAMA Network that you can look over from the link below:
