This has absolutely nothing to do with TV’s or the lastest fad phone.

Every single Diesel engine produced in the last 15 years depends on emissions parts made in CHINA. Every manufacturer bar none. What happens when truck lines can’t move freight? We don’t have many warehouses anymore mostly “just in time delivery” meaning there isn’t years worth of needed supplies and parts stored. How long before grocery stores are bare? Three days with no panic buying.

How about your furnace? All the parts are made in CHINA.

How about the auto parts for your car? CHINA

Tires? Mostly CHINA

How about your kitchen appliances? Assembled in the USA…..great!!!……….except it’s made with mostly all parts from………CHINA.

How about most of your clothes? CHINA

Parts for your Caterpillar dozer or loader? Vast majority from the OEM is…….CHINA

Your new faucet for your sink? CHINA

Your medicine? Most of it CHINA

Re-bar for concrete? CHINA

Steel for your new cattle pins? CHINA

Look closely all around you, it’s CHINA trash everywhere.

I can keep going.

I Hate CHINA. I hate cheap junk crap that won’t last and I could write volumes of books about the extend that I have went to in my adult years trying to avoid buying trash CHINESE and ASIAN junk.

I work on Diesel engines and rock crushing equipment, things that have traditionally demanded a higher quality but even the manufactures of them have fallen for the CHINESE cheap trap.

We DEPEND on China crap, period. It’s sad but it’s no less true.
Why do you think Trump had to go at any cost even blatantly stealing a national election. Because “corporate” America and nearly all politicians have ties to…………….CHINA.

Worth it? Absolutely!!

Depending on cheap CHINESE communist junk is a deal with the devil but it’s a deal that America made a long time ago and thus we currently DEPEND on that communist made stuff.

See my post right above this one

China’s buying lots of farmland in the US.

China owns food processing plants in the Dekota’s and are buying more...

Starvation’s a BIG commie tactic...

Our ‘military’ is so stupid they’re more concerned about whacking balls off men to create women and purging patriots than defending the country. And they can’t win a war against a stone-age hellhole like Afghanistan...

China’s beating their war drums again...

Of course it could be nothing more than they’ve become preppers... who knows?

How much farmland? Average cost of Farmland is around $3500 to $6000 a acre. 50,000 acres is about $250,000,000, so you do the math.

China would literally have to send 100’s of Billions of dollars to even make a dent in 90 Million acres out there. Even Gates has only 250,000 acres.

China needs a lot of food , one or two bad droughts and they are in a mess and no one can bail them out. In all likely hood they would go to war with Russia to get their cropland and other places in the East.

I believe the Chinese are buying American farmland to mess with OUR food supply - NOT to feed their people.

ASK YOURSELF

IF OUR GENERALS IN WORLD WAR II

WOULD HAVE EVER ALLOWED GERMANY TO BUY OUR FARMLAND AND FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS.

Prepper ping - China has half of the globes grains and corn
Wondering why your grains, wheat, rice, corn have been price inflated ?
Ready for trade dispute, war preparations, or just more of "Belt and Road" colonial takeover ?

"The hoarding is taking place in China.
Less than 20% of the world’s population has managed to stockpile more than half of the globe’s maize and other grains,
leading to steep price increases across the planet and dropping more countries into famine."

China is maintaining its food stockpiles at a “historically high level,“ Qin Yuyun, head of grain reserves
at the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, told reporters in November.
“Our wheat stockpiles can meet demand for one and a half years. There is no problem whatsoever about the supply of food.”
According to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, China is expected to have 69% of the globe’s maize reserves in the first half of crop year 2022,
60% of its rice and 51% of its wheat.
The projections represent increases of around 20 percentage points over the past 10 years, and the data clearly shows that China continues to hoard grain.
In the January-September period of 2021, China imported more food than it had since at least 2016, which is as far back as comparable data goes.
Over the past five years, China’s soybean, maize and wheat imports soared two- to twelvefold on aggressive purchases from the U.S., Brazil and other supplier nations.
Imports of beef, pork, dairy and fruit jumped two- to fivefold.

(My Comment): This will reflect on inflated prices for feed and grain for meat livestock, as well as more immediate price disparity for morning cereals.
Inflation, plus supply chain chaos equals more financial and economic shock !
"Emptybiden shelves" is no longer a meme.
Plan accordingly !
Read the entire OP and comments for severity and understanding what this portends.

Well, the globe gave it to them and keeps on giving it while having empty shelves at home.

You really need to rethink that.

I agree with your list. Unfortunately, I don’t know of a single government that does that, at least not in the quantities they would use. In the mean time, the best thing we can do as individuals might be to gather tools and supplies needed to provide for ourselves, and keep developing the skills to use them.

On the food front, the FReeper gardening thread is a good place for anybody who wants to learn. We discuss everything from seed sources to preserving the harvest. Contact Diana In Wisconsin to be added.

the solution to their food issues is vertical farming.

small towns of high rises.
each growing different foods.
soil recycling.
water recycling.
power production on site.
rail in and out.

create 1000+ of those towns and it’d make a sizable dent in their food issues
