I generally do not watch Trump rallies. I don’t need to be convinced to vote for him should he decide to run in 2024 and unlike the current occupant of the White House, President Donald Trump can go without taking a break for hours. But I watched his first rally of 2022 in Florence, Arizona, because I wanted to hear one thing.
Or, to be more accurate, I was hoping to NOT hear one thing, and thankfully I didn’t hear it.
After chastising his supporters during the last two rallies for not embracing the vaccines that he made possible through Operation Warp Speed, he conspicuously did not promote them or the booster shots at this rally. Instead, he railed against the vaccine mandates being imposed on healthcare workers, heralded the nutraceuticals he not only promoted as President but that he took himself when he had Covid, and didn’t once tell anyone to get the jabs. He used his time for more productive topics like the economy, the border crisis, and the January 6 witch hunt.

“Methinks Trump let his ego along with fear get the better of him with pushing the jabs, since he invested so much of his political capital in making the vaccines available.”
I agree. I think his rationale was basically along the lines of “Look at what I accomplished with Operation Warp Speed... multiple vaxxes in less than one year. Look at what Biden has accomplished in a year... diddly squat. Give me credit for my success.”
The only problem for Trump is that his base ain’t stupid. We can consider the risks and efficacy of the vaxxes and make our own choices. At this point, only the most stubborn vax-holes are insisting that the vaxxes prevent infection and transmission. That ship has sailed. At best, they’re going to lower your already low chances of becoming severely ill when you get covid.
Show me where he supported Covid mandates. Besides running your mouth, lets see a link with a quote.
Trump never supported mandates
It appears that perhaps the messaging from our scientists were misleading. They should had said that it's just like the flu shot. So when you get it, it "may" decrease your symptoms and amount of time you have the virus. It will not prevent transmission at all.
The problem would be that, people would say "it's just like the flu shot so why should I bother?" and that's not what our government wanted the people to do. So I think they mislead the public on purpose.
So the next time something like this happens, the American people will just tune out whatever NIH/CDC suggests we do and bam, we get hit hard by something like the Spanish flu.
Well said.
“I’m glad that he has pivoted away from the absurdity of the Covid mandates.”
He never has been in favor of mandates. You can’t Pinot away if you’ve never been there in the first place.
Goodness, I’m not lying, I misspoke. I meant the “vax”. I’m grateful he supports personal choice. Mandates are absurd!
Most Americans aren't well informed, and very few of them have any interest in being free, responsible people.
The average swing voter in the U.S. is a suburban Karen dingbat with an IQ of 90 and a lifetime supply of masks and hand sanitizer in the trunk of her car.
I certainly hope you are not calling me a troll, for having concerns like many, over Trump claiming the vaccines are one of the greatest achievements in the history of mankind, that he was personally responsible for, which were ignorant claims. I have more than enough bonafides as a long term Trump supporter on this very site, if you care to debate it.
Who cares if he is pro vaccine?
Millions of people, growing by the day. There have been countless threads on this site explaining why. Why not give Trump credit for possibly realizing it, and changing his tune, instead of attacking others here who have legitimate concerns? Are you saying you don’t believe anyone here could have suffered a vaccine injury, or know someone who has?
I nominate you to the CDC. This what I think will occur.
Hopefully someone with facts and his ear got to him. Not Ivanka.
The issue is that if he believes as you say he does…why doesn’t he say that?
Trump made a deliberate pivot at the AZ rally. This is just part of the red pill plan. I would not be surprised if Trump says the vaccines aren’t really working at his Texas rally on the 29th.
I said it here 2 years ago. Trump is a germaphobe, and China knew it and took advantage. His Achilles heel.
(The other is his family, but they are squeaky clean)
Twitter banned him.
Rumble is not a good platform for him, as the people he needs to reach, probably are not using it.
that’s not his account, it’s reserved for his and someone posts his statements to it.
Happy to hear this change of course.
Jabs aren’t something to support.
Thanks, that’s why I was cautious about not saying it was, for sure. Too bad, though. Someone else here mentioned he supposedly has a Telegram account, but whenever I even try to bring it up, it acts like I’d have to subscribe. If you have any details about that one including how to access it, people would probably appreciate it. Thanks again.
