Sometimes you read something that might make you exclaim, "Just plain... nuts." Such was probably the case when most normal people saw a column by Joe Mathews published in the Ventura County Star on Thursday, "California should abolish parenthood, in the name of equity."

Legalizing hanging for certain journalists.
You can be sure of that. Gird yourself with spiritual armor.
I agree .44% Lol

Wasn’t it satire?
He’s liable to get himself killed
Don’t do drugs, m’kay.
Actually that logic is bullet proof.
How can you possibly think of achieving “equity”, ie equal outcomes, if you have some kids with rich and/or good parents and some with poor and/or bad parents?
Take them all away and put them all in a state run orphanage and thus achieve equity... in misery.
The public school system is a central example of The State acting like it is in command of other people’s daughters and sons.
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
“The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light”
Now there’s no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw
“The Trees”

Note to the author: If I or anyone else has to give up our kids to achieve equity then you can go pound sand with your equity. The relationship between parents and children are among the most fundamental building blocks of human society and any ideology that would break that relationship is illegitimate and wrong.
Nothing new.
It was suggested and planned in all communist countries. I think, it is original Stalin’s idea.
Take children from the parents, indoctrinate them and you will create the new person. Easy!
Even in Communist countries, it ran into problems and was not implemented in most.
Cuba educational system is pretty close to this, parents see children only on weekends.
Oingo Boingo paraphrased:
Its a Nazi Party
You cant ask for more
Everybodys Suddenly
A body on the floor
This whole thing started with Hillary’s “it takes a village.”
Perhaps he is just auditioning for an MSNBC host gig.

Not at all, taking children from their parents has actually a long history. Turkish dervisme (sp?) was a tax on children. Every fifth boy was taken from Christian parents and indoctrinated. The Turkish army was based on those poor souls.
Ceausescu in Romania had similar program using orphans.
Cuba implemented boarding school type of education for children, parents are allowed to see children only on short weekend.
Hitler took Aryan looking children from Polish and other parents and reeducated them. His plans in this area were huge, basically all “lesser people” should be stripped of children and reeducated in Nazi mold.
Practically every communist country had planned taking children from parents and reeducate them in communist mold.
So, this idea Has been planned quite often and even partially implemented.
What’s new is that now it is being suggested here!
This guy is in great company - Castro, Ceausescu, Hitler, Stalin, Suleiman the Magnificent.
After reading a few comments, it appears that this guy was printing satire(??).. I’ve never heard of him, but this is a part of the bigger plan, in my opinion.
Lampost, rope, some assembly required.
There are a lot of things considered “kooky” yesterday that are now being pushed as “normal” today.
So...this may be crazy to most today, but tomorrow...who knows?
