I am ashamed of the country of my birth.
Australia has lost its soul.
Even a gennuinely conservative federal government has betrayed what Australia used to stand for.
Be warned America.
This is the future when freedom dies.
“This is the future when freedom dies.”
This is the future when our guns are taken away.
Of course it is, that's the only kind you ever make.
This is the future when a nation turns from GOD.
Seems the state health ministers have too much power. My understanding hard for judicial branch to over rule them.
I used to say Australia is more American than the U.S. because Australia still had rugged individualism and personal freedom & responsibility, while the U.S. had become corrupted with Leftism. I never had a clue that Australia had its own Swamp.
How can any of the current players left in the Open show pride in winning?
Whoever wins...
It’s always got to gnaw at their minds that without Djokovic there to beat, they can’t really say they won.
I can see them laughing and beaming about it when they’re presented with the trophy, but everyone will question it.
It’s a big blow to international sports, seriously.
We now have men competing as, “women” in all manner of sports.
We can’t point out the, “inequity” of their advantage as the level playing field is littered with handicapping and accommodations.
“In the year 2081, the 211th, 212th, and 213th amendments to the Constitution dictate that all Americans are fully equal and not allowed to be smarter, better-looking, or more physically able than anyone else. The Handicapper General’s agents enforce the equality laws.” Outcomes are subject to the whims of the Handicapper General

If Novak Djokovic won’t play by Australia’s rules, then he shouldn’t be allowed to play at all. https://nationalreview.com/2022/01/so-long-djoker/?taid=61e42599b7327100015270d8&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

I disagree. There’s no way for anyone to know who’s going to win this tournament. Novak could have gotten beat in any one of the first six rounds, never making it to the final. Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, the controversy surrounding whether or not he would play, who could possibly know how the stress of it all would have affected his game.
Whoever wins will have won because he faced and beat the opponent across the net from him during each of the 7 rounds, of which he has no control over (and unless there’s a walkover). No guarantee that at any point, he would have faced Djokovic.
Agreed. However, I think greed will rule the day and they won’t think twice about it.
Freedom only dies when good people do nothing to preserve it. Civil disobedience was the mantra of the left and what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. My mates in Australia need to unify and defy.
But there’s no way we’ll ever know, is there?
Artificially keeping the top seed out of the competition means LESS competition.
It’s tainted forever.
Learn to live people!

There is no guarantee that the winner would not have faced Djokovic and lost.
