Keep hearing of train burglaries in LA on the scanner so went to #LincolnHeights to see it all. And… there’s looted packages as far as the eye can see. Amazon packages, @UPS boxes, unused Covid tests, fishing lures, epi pens. Cargo containers left busted open on trains. @CBSLA
I long ago came to the conclusion that our major cities need be nuked from orbit.

I remember Mike Wallace on 60 MINUTES reporting on something like this on a smaller scale back around 1972.

Given that this is happening in California, that won’t work. The looters will always greatly outnumber the guards. And the first time a guard shoots a looter for a “misdemeanor theft”, all hell will break loose. The guard will go to prison, and the railroad company will be sued for millions.
