The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is reporting 3,694 employees with active Covid-19 infections, according to agency data, roughly 7% of the agency’s screeners. For context, the week before the omicron variant was first identified in the United States, there were 275 positive Covid-19 cases among the TSA’s ranks.

Like others who work in public-facing jobs, TSA employees have been testing positive for the coronavirus in record-breaking numbers. The skyrocketing of cases at the agency is an 1,243% increase since Thanksgiving.

"Better get vaccinated!"

Odd isn't it? Aren't feral employees mandated to be VAXXED? If so, how is it possible for so many to be "suddenly" positive for COVID?

At some point they'll just be replaced by the probulator.

I think we all remember back in the day times when a lot of people around us (sometimes including ourselves) had that nasty cold going around. This seems little different to me. And we weren’t obsessively tracking deaths of vulnerable people, hospital admissions, severe prolonged illnesses, but I bet they were up there in somewhat similar territory. But there was no globalism and no climate emergency in the background and no Fauci.

Just survival of the fittest. Like always.

Send them all back to work. Test them again. If they are positive covid. Send them back to work anyway. There is a boarder to check.

No fever. Go to work. Fever? Take some aspirin and go to work. Cough in your hand, not your elbow, ya ...

They ought to make it a rule that everyone in an airport has to wear a mask.

If it’s good enough for hospitals, why not?

What better way to cull the herd of the sick and weak than to deliberately infect them when they are already compromised?

Honestly, sent the kiddos to school and let them pass it around and become immune.

And if they are sick, then keep them away from grandma and grandpa until they are better, just like you should be doing for any other disease.

I'm not accusing these TSA screeners, and I hope they all have asymptomatic or mild infections. That said, with home testing, I wonder how many people who want to stay home from work are reporting testing positive when they actually aren't infected?

This is spreading like wild fire. If only we had a vaccine. /s

The vaccine is not a vaccine. People vaccinated, vaccinated/boosted and unvaccinated are all coming down with it because it is airborne. Thank God I contracted the “mild” OMNICON variant. A headache, NO fever, post nasal drip with a sore throat that was on fire for a couple days… now - nothing. Immunity at last.

Stop giving them extra paid “sick days” for testing positive without symptoms. They’ll be back.

One grand daughter had it almost a year ago and had no trouble recovering. Daughter JUST had it and recovered quickly. The other two grand daughters never got it.

How?

Because the vaxxes were engineered to provide minimal protection while allowing continued spread of CoupFlu...?

I’m wondering.
