A late-round pick out of Illinois State in the 2016 draft, Ramirez played three seasons in Tampa Bay’s farm system before being released. Soon afterwards, however, the club rehired Ramirez for a new role as the bullpen catcher on the big league club, opening a door towards the coaching career Ramirez looked to establish.
“He brought so much passion and energy each day to our clubhouse and bullpen, and his love for the Rays and baseball was evident to all. He had the biggest heart and the most infectious smile,” Cash said.
The Rays did not announce Ramirez’s cause of death. Neander called it an “unexpected loss.”

Another victim of the mysterious Sudden Adult Death Syndrome... it used to be just infants - now it has spread to everyone. Conversely, only older folks used to have heart attacks, now teenagers do. Are they side effects, or intended effects - that’s all that is left to know.
Sure. Hundreds of thousands of young, healthy men die suddenly in their twenties.
Life insurance companies are now documenting the RECENT massive increases in deaths of working age people.
Life insurance companies cannot hide the mass murder perpetrated by politicians through mandated jabs.
Insurance companies cannot suddenly pay billions of dollars in claims for deaths of younger people and stay in business when the past actuarial history has guided the insurance premiums based on mostly good health of young people.
The truth is coming out and a reckoning is coming for these monsters in power.
Otherwise healthy 28 y/o professional athlete unexpectedly dies from heart attack? C’mon, how is this even news or unusual?
My brother who is in his mid 50s has been an airline captain for decades with no history of heart problems. He gets a thorough flight physical every 6 months. The jabs have ruined his heart. He has now not only lost his career he could die. Because of associated frequent medical exams for the FAA this is very well documented, and he is not alone. We have a massive cover-up taking place right now.
