""Even after a 12 hour night shift at the hospital last night, my wife still has the energy to shovel the driveway. God bless her and all our frontliners," wrote Winnipeg MLA Jon Reyes.
Winnipeg Minister of Economic Development and Jobs Jon Reyes made the questionable decision of snapping a photo of his wife shoveling the snow after she had worked a 12-hour hospital shift.
"Even after a 12 hour night shift at the hospital last night, my wife still has the energy to shovel the driveway. God bless her and all our frontliners. Time to make her some breakfast," wrote Reyes, finishing the tweet with a "praying" emoji. ..."

Note to the Mrs: GET OUT OF THIS PATHETIC MARRIAGE !
Maybe “she’s” a “he”.
"When she's done, she can get me a beer......"
really. sounds like he hangs out here.
There are no jokes among leftists, except for their political ideas.
With the new shovel he gave her for Christmas.
"I should take a picture"
You do know how to turn a dish washer into a snow blower.
Give her a shovel.
The joke is Winnipeg Minister of Economic Development and Jobs Jon Reyes.
Well he ain’t no man
I took it that she was getting home from an overnight shift and he just woke up to fresh global warming.
I used to have a neighbor who was a 70 year old retired single woman. She loved snowshoveling and snowblowing.
If it snowed, she was up around 6 clearing hers and neighbors driveways.
If I had to go to work, I’d let her have at it. If I didn’t, I’d go help her clear the neighbors drives.
Best neighbor I ever had. We moved away 12 years ago and still visit whenever we’re back in town.
I think you nailed it!
Orange cat is of course Viking kitty.
Sorry, that would be my wife.
I know some nurses who do that kind of shift work. Even outside a hospital setting.
Some of them are so strung up they can’t stop. They’re too “awake”. Especially if it’s the last of a series of shifts when they don’t have to go to work again soon.
Nah, that would be me - per my husband’s friends. But all I had to do was watch “Patton” and “Tora, Tora, Tora” on my own.
Are you and my wife twins?
I really think this was a joke. Remember Walter Williams used to make the same joke about Mrs. Williams.

Why questionable? Jumping to what works for our marriage and comparing it to what works in someone else's marriage is foolishness. I've wondered why one spouse seems to give a much larger amount of the "give" part than the "take". I've come to understand the nature of some persons is simply be happier when giving. I also know that without knowledge of the whole situation, we misjudge things when we only are seeing a microcosm of events. Was the wife the "designated snow shoveling" spouse or had her husband been recovering from covid or even a heart condition? No matter what the circumstances, it's a mistake to take him to task. Even if she is fuming at having the chore, she's not waiting behind a door, poised to clobber him with the shovel.
LOL
I haven’t mowed the lawn or done snow in years. I have issues that make it harder, but the main thing is Mr. Rebel really loves doing the “man stuff”, even if it’s tiring.
I was wondering the same thing, only I wasn’t kidding!
If she *did* fish, she’d be my ideal woman. I’m 77, so her being a nurse is a BIG plus. With my hip, her ability to shovel snow on my walkway is another positive. As for a fishing boat, I’ve already got one that I can’t launch and recover by myself, so we can keep the better of the two and she can keep the proceeds of whichever one we sell.
The art of the deal.......
