Tennis star Novak Djokovic has won his court battle in Australia after his visa was canceled due to his Covid-19 vaccination status ahead of the Australian Open.

Australian Federal Judge Anthony Kelly read out the ruling in an emergency virtual court hearing Monday. “The court will order as follows: Paragraph 1, the decision of the delegate to cancel the applicant’s temporary activity subclass 048 visa made on 6 January 2022, be quashed,” he said. ..."

The 1956 Olympic games in Melbourne had quarantine for the horses in the equestrian events so the organizers held them in Stockholm Sweden instead.

The punishment is always the process. The process is designed to do enough harm that most people will just comply as opposed to be “punished” by the process again.

From what I’ve seen of the Australian government this move doesn’t end this fight. Djokovic is a foreigner. Australia has the right to send him packing for any reason they choose.

Djokovic is NOT free. He was re-arrested after a judge of a higher court reversed the title ruling. Further, you posted this article after the freep article showing that the ruling freeing Djokovic was reversed. The above posting is just down the index page, so it would have been hard for you to miss.

The rest of the world has the right to treat Australia as a place to completely avoid and to which NOBODY should EVER send their athletes for ANY competition.

Australia can collectively lose their minds and the other countries should shun it for such lunacy AND refuse Australian athletes permission to enter their countries and compete in their sporting events.
