Shocking Video Shows Moment Florida Man Allegedly Tried to Strangle Woman with a Shoelace at a Bus Stop

A Florida man was arrested after allegedly attempting to strangle a woman at a bus stop using a shoelace over the weekend.

The incident occurred at a Miami-Dade transit stop near the Miami International Airport on Sunday around 11 a.m., according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Aaron K. Quinones, 27, stands accused of one count of attempted murder over the daytime attack on the 26-year-old woman that reportedly was caught on what appears to be surveillance video.

Footage shared on social media by OnlyInDade, a tabloid blog redolent of WorldStarHipHop that describes itself as dedicated to “The Good, The Bad, [and] The Funny,” shows a man resting his left leg on a bench and making motions that suggest he removed the shoelace from his own left shoe immediately before the strangulation attempt.

The most striking thing about this to me is that the gal just sits there without even looking over her shoulder at this guy. (I would have been keeping at least one eye on him, and probably would have changed my seat or stood up -stretch, yawn, slowly walk away - when he started to approach. Do you not watch people who walk behind you in a public place?) She's (seemingly) transfixed on her smart phone. At least she survived and the cops caught the attacker, who is being held without bond.

People are mesmerized by these devices. I let a young man run into me in the hallway at work just to see if he was aware of his surroundings at all. He had no situational awareness at all. No survival instincts at all.

What shocked me was the cold bloodedness of the attack.

I don’t know if he knew her or just picked her at random but my word, that was brutal. Thank God for a Good Samaritan who was willing to intervene. He saved her life.

As a follower of true crime stories I have seen reports of many in which the victim as totally unrelated and was chosen at random, due to being of a different race from the attacker.

My informed opinion: The remarks of Democrats in Congress and the state and city government inflamed the emotions of unstable types who looked for a victim of another race soon after.

Democrats are responsible. Not just because of their soft on crime. IMHO.

Did anyone listen to Mark Levins radio show Tuesday? Something I didn't know, supposedly Ashli Babbitt wasn't the only woman who was murdered Jan. 6th. According to Mark Levin evidence has surfaced that a woman named Rosanne Boyland was beaten to death in a tunnel by one of Nancys SA.

They claimed she overdosed - interesting timing to overdose - but Levin claimed a video showed a cop bashing Boyland in a head with a baton 13 times, then punching her in the face which turned her face bloody, then he stomped on her head killing her.

I haven't seen this video, I got this info from Mark Levin who was talking about it on his Tuesday radio show with Julie Kelly on. I would be very interested in seeing that video because if true, we then have TWO murders by TWO killers who haven't been brought to justice.
