The Manhattan district attorney's office is closing its investigation into former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of nursing home COVID-19 deaths without bringing charges against Cuomo, according to the former governor's attorney.
"I was contacted today by the head of the Elder Care Unit from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office who informed me they have closed its investigation involving the Executive Chamber and nursing homes," Elkan Abramowitz, a former federal prosecutor who had been hired to represent Cuomo, said Monday. "I was told that after a thorough investigation — as we have said all along — there was no evidence to suggest that any laws were broken." ..."

My last living aunt died in an Albany, NY nursing home in June of 2020.
For all I know Cuomo murdered her in between fingering his staff.
I think a lot of people (even New Yorkers) fail to grasp when Cuomo signed the paperwork to allow nursing homes to operate as hospitals...they could charge roughly five times the daily rate (figure in extras...it was probably seven to eight times the daily nursing home rate). This was purely about greed and money.
Even if you got real aggressive...this could amount to dozens of big-name nursing home operators who were in on the ‘fix’ as well.
No reporting laws were broken? Really?
He needs to commit a serious crime like holding a protrump sign at the capitol on Jan 6th for the DA to pay attention.

So what if he sent Covid patients into nursing homes and killed thousands of people. What’s important is that Trump got the blame. The end justifies the means.
Lesson to be learned. If you’re a Democrat: kill tens of thousands of your fellow citizens, no consequences. Fondle female staff members, fill out your resignation.
FWIW, there’s a decent chance that the death numbers for nursing home patients have been inflated.
Every death in the country that’s been attributed to CoupFlu needs a review.
I think that’s why Cuomo’s gone. Deep State can’t have anyone looking at our death count. Especially if those numbers have been goosed up, not massaged down.
One death is one too many.
