Treatments for COVID-19 incorporating hot-button drugs such as ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are being secretly adopted by National Football League teams, according to one of the NFL's biggest stars.
"I do know, behind the scenes — this is 100% true — there are many teams who are recommending a lot of the same treatments that I got for their players," Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said in an interview Tuesday with Pat McAfee's SirusXM show.
Rodgers was referring to his highly publicized bout last month with COVID-19, from which he quickly recovered.
In the interview, the future Hall of Famer took aim at the censorship of criticism of the COVID-19 vaccines.
"If science can't be questioned, it's not science anymore. It's propaganda," Rodgers said. "That's the truth."
Along with ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, Rodgers was treated for COVID-19 with monoclonal antibodies, zinc, and vitamins C and D. The Packers star told McAfee the treatment was recommended by podcaster and Joe Rogan, who recovered quickly from his own bout with COVID-19.
"I'm not some uneducated person who's throwing stuff out there," Rodgers said. "If you want to rip on me because I took horse dewormer, and whatever else you want to talk about, that's fine. But I also got better in 48 hours. And I had symptoms."
The reference was to ivermectin, which establishment media, in lock step, derided as "horse dewormer," ignoring the fact that it has been administered more than 4 billion times and has antiviral properties shown to be effective in treatment of COVID in dozens of studies.

I have been taking Vitamin D3 in the winter for years for mood and immunity. When COVID loomed two years ago, I started reading up and supplemented with Vitamins C, B complex, quercitin, zinc and NAC. (I also take turmeric/ginger/black pepper for arthritis). I weathered a round of COVID beta with minimal symptoms. The friend who was exposed standing beside me spent a month in the hospital and nearly went on a vent. She just came off oxygen after about 8 months. Hubby and I were exposed to omicron at Christmas. He has been sick but had no serious issues and I haven't felt it at all. We are under a lot of pressure to take shots in our liberal community, but taking these supplements has given my immune system the support to stay healthy and a lot of confidence to resist the pressure.
If you're stocking up on essentials, I'd also suggest a pulse oximeter. If anyone in the household gets COVID, it is good to monitor oxygenation levels. We got ours locally for about $30 at a chain drug store.

On “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers who is a regular guest on Tuesdays, said his remarks on the shots made him a villain and a target of the woke left.
Rodgers explains “There’s heroes and villains in sports and entertainment, and I think, because of my stance on COVID and maybe some other things, I’ve been cast as the villain. Especially the last few years.”
He goes on to say: “This woke culture wants to be offended by everything. You just go online and find something you don’t agree with. ‘I’m offended! How could you possibly say that?’ I don’t really care. I don’t care who it’s coming from or who said it.”
