Do a little common sense thinking. There wasnt even flu vaccines till mid century at least. Hell there wasnt even penicillin til about WW2.

These were experimental vaccines according to the article and not called flu vaccines.

It was before my time and above my paygrade and no one I know was there so I don’t know what is absolute fact or isn’t.
