No doubt. I have a personal bug with fake headlines used to seek clicks. I hate these clickbait @$$holes.
The Kelo case makes such seizures just a mere matter of when, not if. All this company needs to do is demonstrate to the local government that they will pay more property taxes than the current owner. Then the land is seized and handed over to another private owner. The Supremes rubber stamped it.
These people are beyond help. What a bunch of idiots... having no proof or historical precedence that remotely suggests humans are causing an adverse affect in global temperature shift. Only a consensus propaganda campaign to promote the semblance of human contribution.
These same loons believe ANY climate model that relies on PROXY data, manipulated outcomes, extrapolated trends and simply invented suppositions and postulates... at the same time ignore polar ice-shelf and land cores that prove the largest contributors to CO2 changes and warming trends in the past 500 million years were caused by volcanic eruptions, dinosaurs and natural disasters from which the Earth has recovered from every time.
They continue to manipulate and fudge the numbers so they can keep the alarmist rhetoric and Al Gores global warming Armageddon alive and sucking billions from world economies to fight a straw-man crisis invented to delude the masses into accepting that humans must be trimmed in numbers and then subjugation under a Marxist Global Management oligarchy of control-freaks in exchange for saving the planet!
The Marxists goal is CONTROL... be it by natural disaster or an invented disaster. Find something you can polarize people with... and PUSH IT!

In reading the article, I was aware that the land was not being “seized.” Per FR rules, I posted the headline without making changes in it.

DnccpNY gets more tax revenue out of destroying farms and having the land become a housing development.
Meanwhile NY put out radio ads saying “NY is proud of our dairy farmers!” while simultaneously working day and night to shut them down.

Well, I am getting all twitchy to raise property taxes on unused farm land.
By small farms I meant no more than a few hundred acres and many less than ten. In my area you can actually make a decent income from a farm stand along with feeding your family with locally grown vegetables. In Puerto Rico you can easily feed yourself and a family with two acres and so much grows in the wild you can harvest locally. High fuel costs are having the same impact on those with wood lots. It once again pays to heat with wood if you can do it.
