That’s right. I just moved to Florida as a political refugee; Maryland will probably blow up in a few years once a leftist gets back into the governor’s mansion.
When I tell people where I’m from, I make sure to tell them that I’m not “bringing that down here with me.” They’re usually pleased to hear that.
I just want to live down here, get accustomed to the way things are done, and hopefully eat plenty of pecan pie and drink local Florida beer if my weight allows it. It would be a horrific shame if Florida is ultimately ruined by wealthy “missionaries”, like in Colorado.
Having just moved here, I’m looking forward to that. Hopefully, the giant cock-a-roaches — if that’s actually a thing — will also drive them away.
