Senate Republicans Move to Ban Federal Funds From States, Cities That Allow Illegal Aliens to Vote

In this episode of “Republicans Are Racist”…

Let’s begin with a basic premise that should be supported by every loyal citizen of every country on the planet: Non-citizens should not be allowed to vote in elections. Period. That should not even be a question.

Unless you’re a Congressional Democrat, that is. In that case, undocumented Democrats are your thing.

As reported by John Solomon’s Just the News, the issue of “non-citizen” voting first came to a boil big-time at the end of the 2018 Georgia governor’s race, when Democrat Stacey Abrams suggested the “blue wave” of voters she hoped would put in her office included the “documented and undocumented,” the latter a ridiculous Democrat term for illegal aliens. Abrams denied she was referring to illegal aliens.

However, last time I checked my Democrat decoder ring, “undocumented” was code for “illegal.”

Meanwhile, cities in at least three states have authorized illegal aliens to vote, while Georgia ponders a constitutional amendment to ban it. “Shockingly,” as reported by my colleague Chris Arps, New York City is among them, as is Northampton, Mass.

Incidentally, let’s dispel another ridiculous Democrat trope: “No human is illegal.”

Nobody has suggested that any humans are illegal, my Democrat friends. Humans are capable, however, of doing illegal things, including illegally entering the United States of America. Sit down.

Now, in an attempt to stem increasing Democrat support of allowing illegal aliens to vote in U.S. elections, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is leading a coalition of Congressional Republicans in sponsoring legislation that would ban federal funding to states and localities that allow illegals to vote:

Republicans move to ban federal funds to states, cities that allow non-citizens to vote

The new legislation is dubbed the "Protecting Our Democracy by Preventing Foreign Citizens from Voting Act."#MassInvasion #BidenOpenBorders #ImportingVoters https://t.co/YLAirbDmtM

Rubio stated the obvious about the legislation.

It’s ridiculous that states are allowing foreign citizens to vote. However, if states and localities do let those who are not U.S. citizens to vote in elections, they shouldn’t get U.S. citizen taxpayer money.

It is principally ridiculous because the majority of illegal aliens are always going to vote for candidates that support causes and legislation most favorable to illegals — and the continuing illegal invasion championed by Biden and Democrats. It does not take a proverbial rocket scientist or Mensa member to understand that fundamental principle.

It also doesn’t take a “very stable genius” with a “very, very, big brain” to understand that Democrats champion illegal immigration and illegal alien voting because they believe — increasingly mistakenly — that a strong majority of Hispanics vote Democrat and always will.

The legislation — Protecting Our Democracy by Preventing Foreign Citizens from Voting Act — which is co-sponsored by Republican Sens. Steve Daines of Montana, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, John Kennedy of Louisiana, Rick Scott of Florida, and James Lankford of Oklahoma, was introduced, noted Just the News, after multiple municipalities from San Francisco to New York City moved in 2021 to allow illegals to vote in local elections.

South Carolina Republican Rep. Jeff Duncan, who plans to introduce a companion bill in the House, told Just the News illegal aliens should not be allowed to influence important decisions in the voting booth.

Voting in this country is a right that should solely be limited to American citizens. Allowing non-citizens or illegal immigrants to vote, even if only in state or local elections, gives foreign nationals influence on some of the most important decisions impacting our families, our rights, and our representation in government.

And Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who proposed an amendment to Georgia’s constitution banning illegal alien voting in his state, noted the proposed ban has overwhelming bipartisan support.

From New York City to San Francisco, more and more extreme liberal jurisdictions are extending voting to non-citizens. Citizens-only voting has overwhelming bipartisan support.

Simply, the federal legislation would bar federal funds from any state or local government that allows illegal aliens and other “foreign citizens” to vote in any federal, state, or local election, and requires all state and local government to certify they do not allow foreign citizens to vote when applying for federal funding.

If the bill passes and is signed into law by the president — neither of those will happen until Biden is out of the White House and Republicans regain control of both chambers of Congress (see: “2022 midterms,” “2024 presidential election”) — let the cheating begin.

Make that “let the cheating continue.” Incidentally, here’s a hot tip for the Democrat Party:

The Democrats’ belief that Hispanic Americans will dutifully line up for decades and overwhelmingly vote Democrat — as have Black voters for more than six decades —is a pipe dream at best, delusional denial at worst. As I recently reported, Hispanic voters are not only abandoning the Democrat Party in favor of Republican candidates, in droves; the degree of abandonment has dramatically increased since 2018.

The bottom line:

When Democrats can’t win fairly, the first thing they do is try to cheat. If caught cheating or cheating doesn’t get the job done, the next thing they attempt to do is change the rules. Examples include early voting, voting by mail, opposing basic voter ID laws, packing the Supreme Court, adding two states to the union, ending Congressional filibusters, et al. The list is long.

In the case of allowing illegal aliens to vote, Democrats are blatantly attempting to permanently change the demographics of America with the belief that by doing so, they will permanently assure the election — and majority control —of Democrats, everywhere, from municipal governments to the White House.

We must never allow that to happen.

For 30 years the GOP has kept the border open and the laws unenforced.

They KNEW they were importing a permanent Democrat majority all along.

‘H’ yeah! “Undocumented” was first heard in the seventies out of Democrat President at the time Jimmy Carter. Can’t get more Democrat than that.

Amnesty Senators Rubio and Hoeven are up in 2022.

Re-electing them will show us what the GOP is made of.

They can start with Texas. Texas already allows illegals to get in state tuition prices for schools. States aid and abet illegals in multiple ways. The gop is merely doing this for show.

RE: They can start with Texas. Texas already allows illegals to get in state tuition prices for schools.

If a RED state like Texas with a Republican Governor will allow this, then we as a nation are truly lost.

After they secede and deport all the illegals, they won’t have that problem.

The idea of allowing illegals to vote isn’t new. If the Rinos were serious, they would have voted this through when they had the chance..
