The debate has always been freedom of choice on the matter. Focusing on more radical issues disables the ability to persuade people it should not be mandated. Credibility is lost when one assumes an extreme position on an easily winnable issue.

And if you don’t have to take it, you can believe whatever you want about it.

“The debate has always been freedom of choice on the matter.”

It should be, but there’s a pretty sizable faction that instantly become Never Trumpers because he expresses an opinion about the vaccine(s) that they don’t agree with (notwithstanding that he expressly opposes vaccine mandates).

Covid vaccines are becoming the litmus test for some conservatives just like abortion is for Dems. The mob is coming for anyone who doesn’t believe Covid vaccines are poison.

When seatbelts are viewed as a good thing that is necessary to save lives, seatbelts are mandated.

The first thing invariably leads to the second thing.

When the poisons called COVID vaccines are characterized as a good thing that is necessary to save lives, the poisons called COVID vaccines are mandated.

The first thing invariably leads to the second thing.
