I mean, this particular guy could make other arrangements for what he needed done, but it might not be so easy for other people.

Depending on what this person’s job is he may not be able to do work alone.
Some protocols may require more than one tech.
But most likely he is suspected of having been exposed to COVID.
I have been told that I am going to have to be off work until January 6 because I have been exposed to COVID.
