My son who is not vaccinated, has covid. Need information and prayers
Ok. If he was just tested, because others around him have come down with COVID, then sending him to ER makes sense if he has serious symptoms and/or comorbities to deal with. I’m sorry he and the family are going through this.
The hospital may have antibodies which could be the reason he was sent there. Where I live the hospitals have monoclonals. Hopefully this will be the case should he need them.
Load him up on quercetin according to the dosages outlined in this study -

Fantastic outreach here. Well done and Merry Christmas!
Frontline doctors is nothing but a relative bunch of quacks. There is no physician who is required to practice a certain protocol — we have autonomy in practice. As for alternative treatments, many of us have tried them with about the same results in the literature — equivocal. This is why really physicians unlike some of my more ardent attackers above actually rx MABs and things that work. We also encourage people to be seen by physicians who actually know them.
Merry Christmas to you as well.

Prayers up for your son’s full and speedy recovery. 🙏
I agree. He needs to start with his doctor...
Albuterol Sulfate (asemia spray) or Levalbuterol in a nebulizer will help in breathing if his branchial tubes are inflamed or gets Bronchitis. I completely agree with the vitamins recommended as well, just make sure he takes them with food and not on an empty stomach.
I pray he has a full and speedy recovery.
KYGrandma to you, Dr Gas: “It was his primary that sent him to the hospital. Here in Louisville there is a shortage of the antibody infusion.”:
Your response to KYGrandma in her emergency is: “The hospital may have antibodies which could be the reason he was sent there. Where I live the hospitals have monoclonals. Hopefully this will be the case should he need them.”
Dr Gas: a profoundly pitiful response to KYGrandma. She already ASSUMES no monoclonals and your response is, I hope hospital has monoclonals.
You have now shocked ME and I try to give you the benefit of an ever growing doubt that you mean to provide good advice rather than devote yourself to defending you.
My doctor, who actually knows me, recommends ivermectin, HCQ, zinc, quercetin, vit c, vit d and is wholly against mrna and j&j vaccines. Said it has ruined some of his patients’ lives.
He is the most brilliant doctor I’ve met in my life. Which I thought long before covid.
I was in bed more than out of it for 10 days..no taste ..no smell.
Then about a week was sluggish but up and around.
Took some zinc and C.
I’m outside a lot so rarely take D.
Now I am more active then I was before getting covid.
Actually glad I got it.
And if that is his opinion and he knows you personally, then so be it. That is his medical judgment.
Wife and I have had the virus and fully recovered but we are in our early 70’s. Hope all goes well for your son.
I am not defending me in the least, in the southeast region, the hospitals have access to monoclonals. I am hoping that as there is a shortage in Kentucky, that there may be a place where his physician is aware of how and where to get them.
Please for the love of God stop with assumptions that make little or no sense. I have had very good success from the hospital level being able to get monoclonals. That is my hope, and perhaps that is what is occurring — as far as I am concerned you are just another in the conga line of experts attacking for little or no reason.
Have a pleasant day.
You consider that not going straight to monoclonal antibodies is not sound advice? Seriously. In Florida, if I am not mistaken, DeSantis has created places where patients can get monoclonals immediately after testing positive.
Florida has the best numbers in the union of covid
Are you actually suggesting this is not sound medical advice. Wow, you really just exposed yourself. I guess you dont like Trump or DeSantis.
Amazing ... but again, thank you for revealing yourself.
