I wouldn’t put my beloved car in a dusty barn to rot. So I don’t get the whole ‘I loved that car,” business.
But it was a good commercial for those that would mistreat a car, restore it, and then let it rot again...LOL
That is sweet.
And the dog is the icing on the cake.
Don’t cringe, these cars are just fine on gravel roads. I drive my 5 1957 Chevys on the backroads constantly, and they’re still in great shape. Hose them off, and they look like showcars again.
Everyone should have a spotless filtered and climate controlled shop to store/display their vehicles. Like lefty Leno. But that’s not real, nor is this commercial. On a side note, I personally prefer a functional working environment where vehicles are actually ridden, driven and worked on.
Made me cry the first time, like hearing Paul Harvey’s ‘God Made A Farmer’.
I couldn’t be bothered to shed a tear for Obamamotors if my life depended on it.
Nope. We don’t watch TV.
My first thought was, he needs to clean up all that junk in the yard and the garage. Advertising manipulation can never overcome my Germanic/Nordic DNA. Things must be organized and in order!
I bet that if it were your car it would not have been allowed to degrade to that point either.
yes its a great ad....simple...emotional...meaning of life....family....
Very sweet ad.
Being a widower is tough, especially this time of year.
< eyeroll> You missed the whole point of the ad!
Eyeroll? Do you pout and stammer as well?
Nope! I prefer eyerolls only :)
Seriously though, sorry for my eyeroll. I was having a very bad day because my pops was in the hospital with COVID and I just had a “jerk” moment.
